Our pergola extension kits allow you to increase the height of your pergola by up to 36". The extension kit comes with an extra piece of vinyl that you can use to extend the vinyl post in your already included in your pergola kit. You will also receive parts to make a decorative molding that slides over your newly added extension to hide the seam created between the original vinyl post and the added extension piece. Don't forget, adding additional height to your pergola requires you to extend the length of the pressure treated wood post respectively.
You can also decrease the height of your pergola by trimming the vinyl post to your desired height. In this case, you should also reduce the length of the pressure treated wood post inside.
