Additional Materials - are they really necessary?

When it comes to creating a beautiful outdoor space, a little prep and planning goes a long way!  Many of the larger arbor, trellis and pergola models will call for additional materials to be purchased separately by the customer, such as pressure treated wood.  We provide this list as a way for you to create a solid structure that will stand the test of time.  All of the additional materials we call for in an installation are considered mandatory and failure to include these in your installation will void your product warranty. 

Our vinyl products are made from PVC extrusion meaning many of the parts and pieces in your kit are hollow.  By adding materials like wood to the inside of the structure you're giving the product it's structure.  You're allowing the screws we provide to bite into something solid and remain secure. 

That being said, not all of our kits will require wood or additional materials as they are considered more decorative or the structure comes from within the design itself.
